Rogue Anti-Trump Judge’s Days On Federal Bench Could Be Numbered

Looks like leftist Judge James Boasberg is finally learning that when you play political games from the bench, there are consequences. Texas Rep. Brandon Gill (R-26) has reportedly moved to file articles of impeachment against Boasberg after explosive new revelations tied to Operation Arctic Frost — one of the most notorious abuses of power from the Biden presidency.

Speaking with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham, Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) revealed that his colleague, Gill, is moving forward with filing impeachment papers against Boasberg — the current chief judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

The move follows shocking revelations this week about the 197 subpoenas targeting conservative leaders and private citizens under Operation Arctic Frost, part of Joe Biden’s sprawling surveillance effort against his political opponents.

Among those targeted was Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX). Then–Special Counsel Jack Smith issued a secret subpoena to AT&T for Cruz’s phone records — and Boasberg approved it while forbidding the company from notifying the senator. It was a blatant violation of congressional privilege and a chilling example of how far Biden’s DOJ was willing to go to spy on its critics.

“He should be impeached. This is why I’m glad that my colleague out of Texas, Rep. Brandon Gill, is actually filing those documents to have him impeached,” Donalds said. “You can not have a judge just be rogue in our system of justice, helping to abet a rogue prosecutor like Jack Smith to start targeting any American, let alone United States senators.”

“This is outrageous! And once again, it demonstrates the length to which the Democrats would stoop in order to keep political power in the United States,” he added. “This is not about the Constitution. This is not about the American people. This is about their craven desire to remain in power.”

“And you can look at this shutdown or anything else that’s going on this year to demonstrate the fact that the Democrats do not care what lever they have to pull or where they have to go to,” Donalds continued. “It’s about power for them first, second, and third, not the American people, not the Constitution.”

Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO) has also joined the growing chorus calling for Judge James Boasberg’s impeachment, emphasizing that in his entire political career, he has never seen a judge’s actions rise to this level of concern.
