WATCH: AOC Rages As Fellow “Squad” Member Loses Race

After what seemed like years of woke ascendancy in the wake of former President Barack Obama winning a second term, the far left is starting to face some degree of effective pushback thanks to its unpopular stance on Israel. That means that one “Squad” representative is close to losing a primary race, and another, Rep. Jamaal Bowman, lost his primary race and won’t be in Congress when the next Congressional term begins. Freaking out about that was Rep. AOC, a fellow Squad member who won her primary handily.

As background, one of the main reasons for Rep. Bowman’s loss was that his comments on Israel in the context of the Israel-Palestine war led to AIPAC, the American-Israeli Political Action Committee, pouring a whopping $15 million into the primary race to defeat him. That AIPAC campaign succeeded, much to the disgust of the Squad.

Among those who sounded off on his defeat was far-left Rep. AOC, who, when speaking to reporters about Rep. Bowman’s loss and Democrat leadership not supporting him to the extent she thinks they should have. She said, “This was about $20 million in big money being spent in a historic sum, unlike any seen in American history, point blank period.”

She continued,  “And I think we need to have a real conversation about AIPAC. I think that what we do need to have [is] a real conversation about is how a Republican, primarily Republican and largely Republican financed organization is playing and dumping money and playing an extremely divisive role in the Democratic Party.”

Rep. AOC then added that the AIPAC involvement in unseating Squad members has made it more difficult for her far-left side to “coalition build,” telling the reporters, “And by the way, it makes it much harder for us to coalition build and to create the winning coalitions that not just can ensure that we have representation at the congressional level,”

She next said,  “But they are spending this money into our party for a reason, because we need that coalition to win back House majorities. We need that energy and coalition of a progressive base in order to make sure that we win statewide and federally, and Republicans are pouring money to finance these for a reason because people and representatives like Jamaal Bowman can move and reach communities that many other areas of the Democratic Party cannot.”

She added, “And so if Republicans can finance taking people like that off the board, they can also make it easier for themselves in November. And so I think for all of us as a party, regardless of your stances, it’s very important that we have a conversation about why Republicans are playing such a large role in financing division and among Democrats.”

Rep. Bowman made similar comments about AIPAC shortly before he lost his primary race. He thundered, “We are going to show f—ing AIPAC, the power of the motherf—ing South Bronx! People ask me why I got a foul mouth. What am I supposed to do? You’re coming after me! You’re coming after my family! You’re coming after my children! I’m not supposed to fight back?”
