The release of Democrat Senator Adam Schiff’s bank records has laid the foundation for the woke lawmaker to be accused of a similar type of fraud to New York Attorney General Letitia James, with records revealing that Sen. Schiff listed a home in Maryland as his primary residence for years, a form of tax fraud and mortgage fraud that could disqualify him from holding office.
For context, on October 16, 2024, a complaint was filed with the US House Ethics, Oversight, & Judiciary Committees by two whistleblowers, who accused Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) of committing mortgage fraud and tax fraud based on bank records and voter registration records that showed that the senator had sold his home in California in 2003, purchased a home in Maryland, and listed California as his primary state of residence for years thereafter.
In addition, the complaint, which was filed by Christine Bish and Darren Ellis, explained that Sen. Schiff had sold his home in Burbank, CA, and subsequently purchased a home in Maryland, listing the latter as his “Primary Residence,” which constitutes mortgage fraud and potentially disqualifies Sen. Schiff from holding office in the state of California.
Moreover, the complaint detailed how the senator, “despite claiming to live and represent the people in the state of California, filed and reaffirmed through refinancing documents” that his primary residence was “8204 Windsor View Terrace, Potomac, Maryland, 28054.”
In addition, the complaint explained that during a House of Representatives Ethics Commission hearing, Sen. Schiff said that he had made a “mistake” when listing his Maryland home as his primary residence. Furthermore, according to the complaint, “Adam Schiff registered as a California voter” at a second California property, located at 250 N First St #427, Burbank, CA, 95102.”
Finally, the complaint detailed that Schiff, who was a state representative at the time of filing, was in violation of U.S. House of Representatives rules, which state, “No person shall be a Representative who shall not have attained the Age of twenty-five Years, and been seven years a Citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State for which he shall be chosen.”
Importantly, based on the details revealed in the complaint, Chanel Rion of One America Network (OAN) said during a broadcast of her show “Fine Point” that the senator may be guilty of “violating state and federal laws, so they say.” Rion added, “Now, many lawmakers keep a place in Washington, especially if they represent a state from far away, like Schiff does, but only one of their homes can be considered their primary residence.”
Furthermore, Rion said that based on Sen. Schiff’s records, “The hypocrisy is clear” in his campaign, adding that the senator ran “against a backdrop where California homelessness has hit record highs and the cost of living has driven Californians out.” Rion continued, “Just this year, Adam Schiff’s Democrats pushed Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. off the ballot in New York over his debates about his various residences. Would they dare hold these same standards up to Adam Schiff?”
