A video that quickly gained attention, shared by Andrew Roth from The Guardian, showed the tense atmosphere as the vice president and their spouse entered the VIP section at the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., for a symphony performance.
Despite the loud disapproval from the crowd, Vance appeared unbothered, flashing an ironic grin and waving casually while sipping on a glass of wine.
Among the shouts from the audience were phrases like, “You’ve ruined this place!” and references to the events of January 6th.
At one point, someone in the crowd called out, “Turn off that light!”
Vance and his wife carried on their conversation as though the disruption hadn’t happened, seeming entirely unaffected by the audience’s response. As the performance started, the boos gradually died down, and they stayed for the full concert.
